Father of All

by
4/03/2011 / Poetry

Jehovah's skillful plan was put into motion,
When he sanctioned life, with His word of creation,
His spoken word did make a difference,
When the earth was birthed with new experience.

Everything devised, was strategically placed,
To accommodate creation with love and grace,
The maiden earth was disrupted by the hands of care,
Chosen red dirt was used for this special affair.

Delicate was the soul, emerged from this scientific project,
Meticulously was he placed in a choice garden selected,
He was given the name Adam which means red dirt,
And a wife named Eve, to share in his mirth.

Father Adam started life's journey, with admonishment from God,
It would have kept them safely, from that despicable fraud,
Yet he chose to follow a path of desolation,
That was designed by the devil for their destruction.

He failed, because of his wife whom he couldn't overseer,
Unsupervised, she busted camp, then jumped the rail,
Her wandering feet, led her to the enemy's trail
Where she suffered the consequence beyond repair.

Delighted in this new found freedom after her roam,
She shared her experience with her husband sitting calmly at home,
Without a question about her absence and defiance,
He presumptuously joined her, forgetting his allegiance,

His commitment to God was no longer a priority,
His impious behavior showed lack of credibility,
What a mistake was made, because he was not in the right place,
To protect his wife from danger and eternal disgrace.

Jehovah God gave Adam a chance to do that which is good,
Yet he chose to follow his wife and partook of the wrong food,
Husbands this is a lesson for you to take control,
And be conscious of your purpose and objective role.

You are responsible to influence your family in a positive way,
Teach them to be obedient, lead them to watch and pray,
You are the head of the home, take your positions,
Walk in righteousness along with your companions.

Remember your actions could create heritage of corruption,
And destroy many lives of innocent generation,
What father Adam did, was due to selfish motivation,
On his will, he left us nothing but peril and degeneration.

Seek God, be obedient, set the right examples,
Practice moral values; stand for truth and all its principles,
Your actions could cause many to go down the road of sedition,
Leaving behind nothing but curse and a life of degradation.

Surround yourselves and family with the presence of Jehovah God,
He will keep you protected from the enemy and his destructive rod,
Tell them you love them, show them you care,
Be covered with the blood of Jesus, for its protection is real.
