Today is a new day,
yesterday is gone.
Tomorrow He promises,
He'll bring a new song.

Sing to me Lord Jesus,
sing to my soul.
Songs that enlighten,
songs which console.

Sing of Your coming,
sweet music to my ears.
Sing of Your forgiveness,
so everyone hears.

Sing, oh my Lord Jesus,
the lyrics that will save.
Sing about the new life,
You so lovingly gave.

Sing with the Lord Jesus,
the song of His love.
Sing of His compassion,
flowing down from above.

Lift up your voices,
be a voice in His choir.
Sing until every soul,
knows His heart's desire.

Lift up your voices,
rise up and sing.
Rejoice in the new song,
He's coming to bring!
