A fleet of boats
are comforted by ocean's
gentle swells--
clouds glowing
from the far side
of sun's surrounding
dim, hill
a backdrop for last
winks of sky.
In the morning
they'll prowl as pussycats
for nets full of cod
and a reunion
of sea gulls
may arrive to proclaim
their share.
