Lord, another day is over,
a new night begins to dawn.
I sit in the darken silence,
and to You I am drawn.

Move me closer to You,
draw me ever near.
Lift from me my burdens,
take from me my fear.

Encourage me to find You,
so Your love I can know.
Give me Your assurance,
that in You I will grow.

Help me to see Your purpose,
influence me to seek Your will.
Give to me Your perfect peace,
teach me to be calm and still.

Advance me towards Your goal,
further me along the way.
As I give You my tomorrow,
I praise You, for this day.
