I belong in the house of my
Father--
from early life
His nurturing and breath of living

then separation
beyond means
Holy Grail of materialism
an unholy calling.

Redemption is memory
and Biblical Words
with promises from one who cares

kneeling I rebuke my failings
forgiveness a gift
as I return to the house
of my yearning--

I am His son once again.
