A Halleluiah Spur!

Lord, we need a rousing,
an inspiring, halleluiah spur
we need the Holy Spirit
to give us a wake-up stir.

Lord, we need an awakening,
an arousing work of love
we need the Holy Spirit
to ascend on us like a dove.

Lord, we need a filling,
of Your awesome power
we need You to rejuvenate
the Church in its final hour.

Lord, we need a real shaking,
we need a true revival
we need the good old truth
found in the Kings Bible.

Lord, we need a stirring,
a renewal of hearts and minds
we need the Holy Spirit showing
how "all" sin robs and blinds.

Lord, we need You,
bring everything that You are
before Your Church gets away
and goes too "damned" far!
