Whatever things that are good,
whatever that builds up hope
think upon such things
and they will help you to cope.

Whatever things that are true,
whatever that exposes God's light
think upon such things
and they will make your life bright.

Whatever things that are lovely,
whatever that God splendidly made
think upon such things
and they will never pale or fade.

Whatever things that are just,
whatever that makes you honest
think upon such things
and they will bless you as He promised.

Whatever things that are noble,
whatever that will bring you His peace
think upon such things
and they will never fail or cease.

Whatever things that are of men,
whatever that causes you to sin
think not about such things
and your thoughts they won't win!
