I love to praise Jesus. He literally turned my life upside down in a time when if I had continued along the path I was on, I would have been dead. That was almost 37 years ago and I remember those details like it happened last week. These poems I wrote today flow out of a very thankful heart.

TODAY'S CHILD and HER LORD

Focused heart,

Fruitful lips,

Praises pouring,

Refreshing rain

Lifting You

Lifetime Lord,

Jesus Justified

Blood bought, me.


THOUGHTS OF HEAVEN, THOUGHTS OF HIM from July 21, 2011

Fresh manna

New mercy morning

Coolness greeting me

After sweltering heat

Yesterday

Great beginnings

Old things passed away

As far as east from west

Scarlet sin, like snow

Made free, recreated whole

No missing pieces

Or mourning loss

Recreated reformation by Jesus

Able to stand because of Him alone

Crucified for me, on Calvary's tree

Pure blood applied

"Paid in full".
