fighting two battles at once

i am between my best friend and girlfriend challenges of life
and i should act as an adviser
the are both drowning away
they both need my advice
i try by all it means to meet them both halfway but it seems that the more i try to help one the more the one steps down
there more i try to help one find a solution
there more the other one falls back into a pit of darkness
i always trys to encourage them them
i always trys to step uo to thier levels of situation or at least try to put myself in their shoes
but sometimes i fail as i have my own life to live
and that makes me feeel like a failour too as
these two peoples have different beleives
different issues
they play different roles in my life
they have different values and customs
and for how much i try to help them still i fail
for how much i tries to fight the battle with them
i dont only seem to loose but i seem to help them to fail and fall back and i dont know who to grief for
coz i love like respect trust and wish the same luck for them
what should i do
