He gazes from above,
He's looking to find
who is searching for Him
in their heart and mind.

He sees not a one,
not one who is seeking
all have turned aside
not one for Him is looking.

He looks to the East,
they have their carven idols
He scans to the West
they are their own idols.

He looks to the South,
no - no not a one
He looks to the North
their hearts, He has none.

He looks and He looks,
all across the seas
but understanding God
is not in any of these!
