When the breathe for the race goes off
When the heart is worn out with tests
And you seem to have had enough
Back to your knees, you shall find rest

Vs2.
When your love for God waxes cold
When the joy of the Lord is gone
For you see not the glory told
Back to your knees, you'll still love God!

Vs3.
When your faith is tossed and shaken
When it is clear you're forsaken
And your face is flooded with tears
Back to your knees, cast off your fears

Vs4.
When all your hope for living fades
When the Home above seems so far
And you feel you no more can stay
Back to your knees, you'll see day Star

Vs5.
When your sweet dreams have turned bitter
When zeal is no more that you faint
And you no more feel that better
Back to your knees, you'll rise again

Vs6.
When your prayers seem unanswered
When your heart opens up for doubt
And your trust seems to be shattered
Back to your knees, get off the drought
