The Volcano

The Lord showed me what is about to come is like bubbling lava. His Spirit is like bubbling lava from a volcano that is ready to explode and erupt wide open! If you study natural "mother nature" happenings, you will find heavenly comparisons. After the Lord had showed me this I watched a show on TV about volcanoes. They were studying a volcano in the Bahamas that had erupted back in 1997. The events were put in chronological order up to and including the massive eruption. The volcano had small eruptions which are accompanied by small earthquakes and lava flows. As the head of the volcano builds with pressure, the eruptions occur at the weakest point in the crust of the volcano. The volcano continues to build pressure until the big eruption occurs. Prior to that point the scientist are all trying to figure out when it will happen. The local people continue to go about their daily lives.

The scientist watch for signs. The scientist can't forecast exactly when it will happen. When it finally erupts it is tremendous and violent. The sheer power of the eruption is big, powerful and mighty! Everyone is caught off guard. At the weakest point in the crust at the top of the volcano the eruption occurs. Lava spews out at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, flowing down and back up the sides of the volcano. Billowing clouds of hot ash and steam fill the air and sky! The ground trembles mightily as the volcano triggers earthquakes as it erupts. The homes and vehicles in the path of the lava are destroyed. The heat from the lava melts all glass it touches and travels down the volcano at speeds of 150 to 180 MPH! You can't out run it!

The symbolism here is that the Holy Spirit is about to erupt! The bubbling is His Spirit working in and through us. Waiting until the time to explode arrives. His Spirit will flow fast, mightily and powerfully! The volcano finds the weakest area along the crust to erupt through, the rest of the crust is too thick. Likewise, some Christians are too stubborn and prideful to allow the flowing of the Holy Spirit. God will find someone who is willing and able to work through and that is where His Spirit will erupt from. When God's Spirit is poured out as flowing lava with great might and power His miracles, signs and wonders will occur frequently.

The release and pouring out of God's Spirit will be so great, mighty, powerful, awesome and wide spread that the world will know that our God is God! Those who admitted that God exists but denied His power will become mute! People will be healed, raised from the dead and delivered from all addictions and demon possessions daily. It will all happen so rapidly and often that others will walk up to you and ask if you are a Christian so that they can be healed! Are you ready to be the "magnet"? Are you ready to allow God's Spirit and power to flow through you today? Are you prepared? God's power, wisdom, knowledge and gifts of the Spirit are ready to erupt in and through you!! We serve a God who is willing and able and God will complete what He starts! Isaiah 46:11 What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do. For He is a faithful and sovereign God! The eruption eagerly awaits!
