The Missing Joy:
Have you found it?
Generally speaking,the three basic and essential needs of man are 1)Food, 2)Shelter and 3)Clothing.However,ther are other ones that are directly connected with these three,the absence of which make man misrable and live unworthy to live.There had been and there are many people who possessed/possessing these three essential needs of life but later committed suicide or contemplating it,why?
JOY is,among others,central to living a worthy life.Do you have it?Do you have it in full or in abundance? No matter the quantity of food,shelter and clothing you possessed,they become sour or bitter when joy is lacking.
Do you want joy in your life?Do you want it to flow unceasingly? Then,make up your mind to take steps toward this.Today can mark the beginning of the joy of the Lord which will forever be your strength.
The joy of the Lord is divine;it has no attachment whatsoever to earthly possessions and situations.The Lord releases it to whoever contacts Him.Therefore,get connected to Him.You can call upon the Lord like King David who experienced the loss of this joy once whe he sinned and fell out of favour with God,
'Create in me a clean heart,O God;and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence;and take not thy holy spirit from me(or give me your Holy Spirit).
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;and uphold me with thy free spirit.' Psalm 51:10-12.
The absence of the joy of salvation breaks the bone of anyone's body.King David had the experience.You may be having or haue had yours.The King's prayer,repeated and believed with the whole of your heart is a sure liberation mechanism.
Do you know what? As you do this,regretting your past iniquities and determining to forsake them,you will not be the only one to experience the joy because there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents,Luke15:10.
As you remain steadfast in you walk with the Lord Jesus Christ,you God,these angels will continue to fill your heart with the joy of the Lord on the instruction of your Maker.Then and only then can you boldly and confidently say,
'Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,I will joy in the God of my salvation.Hab.3:18.
Your coming across this content is not a mistake,it is divine.Do you want to know the reason?The Lord answers you,
'These things have I spoken unto you,that my joy might remain in you,and that your joy might be full'.John 15:11.
Now,it is left to you to make up your mind.
'O taste and see that the Lord is good;blessed is the man that trust in him'. Psalm 34:8
May you continue to experience the joy of the Lord until eternity.Stay blessed.:-
