I could give testimonials for "U-Haul" and "Ryder" movers; my husband and I have lived in several states from coast-to-coast. In our earlier years of marriage, we averaged a move every six months. We have become slightly more stable as the years passed, now we average five years in a locality. FL tourism should consider awarding us a blue ribbon for the twenty plus years we resided in the Panhandle.
Moving from one residence to another is strenuous work and packing and unpacking seems to be never ending. I would not be surprised if I could trace back the origin of the word exhausted to a grueling day of loading and unloading a moving van or truck. I'd say I was dog-tired following each move; I didn't pull a dog sled behind me but needed to have someone pull me out of bed.
God did not push or pull me on moving day; he moved me from darkness to light (Ephesians 5:8) and helped get me settled. "But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect establish strengthen and settle you (1 Peter 5:10 NKJ)." He puts everything in the proper place and gives me energy to keep up the pace!
