"Gimme, Gimme." Infants and toddlers are sweet but selfish, seeking to satisfy their desire for toys and treats. Their small hands grab and hold. Mouths of children resemble those of baby birds, open and waiting for mommy or daddy to fill them. We must not judge them too harshly. They believe they will receive what they want or need.
I am not only missing blessings to receive but also deliverance to declare. "Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7 Living Bible)." The Lord urges me to ask for the tangible yet temporary, invisible and eternal. Will I seek with persistence and knock until He opens warehouse doors to promise pantries?
