IT'S ME LORD....MAGDALENA

Hi Lord it's me again. You know who I am. You gave me my name. You were the one who set me free with your pierced hands and dripping blood. I remember when you released those first set of demons that took up space in me. I remember the first time you set my mind free. While others were jeering and pointing their fingers, you gently kneeled down and pulled my sweat stained hair from my face. While others had turned and walked away, you stayed and watched me in my sin. While people chose to brand me nothing more than a loser with no hope and no future you declared that you had plans for me to prosper and that you would give me a future! All I had to do was call on you and you would listen and call on your name. (Jeremiah 29)

The devil thought he had me. He kept trying. And...even the devil who thought he was so clever with his wiles, could not keep me from your plan. While he tried to convince me over and over that I was a mere slave to my addictions, you told me that I was your child and you would set me free. While the devil tried to keep me down in depression and low self worth, you told me how beautiful I truly was. He even tried to tell me I was useless and my life had no meaning. But you Lord you told me to get up and go tell of your love. You Lord ...you told me to sit down and pluck at these keys to share my story. It was you Lord who gave me the strength to share my experience, strength, and hope.
And-just when I thought I could bare no more because the pain of a broken marriage and a broken heart was too much- you told me I could lean on you. You told me that you would be my husband and that I could count on you. You my Lord began to show me how a husband should treat his wife. And...even when my mind began to wander in the flesh and make excuses you tenderly whispered the truth in my ear.
As each day passed and the devil still threw lies my way, you handed me a full set of armor... your word. As I placed the helmet on my head, the breastplate on my chest, and lifted up my shield and swung my sword; I knew you had given me the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. (Luke 10:19)
And...when the enemy told me I would be crazy for the rest of my life, it was you Lord who thumped me on the head and said, "Get up girl, your mind is healed." He gave me the gift of a sound mind. (Timothy 1:7)
Yes folks it is me Magdalena. And I have come up fighting. I have had more than 7 demons released from me. The devil himself has tried to bring me down. I am living proof that the enemy can be defeated. I am a mighty woman of valor. I am beauty. I am courage. I am hope. I am God's servant. I stand for the cause which is my purpose in Jesus. I stand for all women who have been knocked down, kicked, spit on, and abused. I stand for all women who have given up all hope. Turn around and look now. For if you look close enough you will see Jesus. He never left your side. And-just when you think you can go no more-he will pick you up from your mess to help you to take one more step.
It's me Lord, Magdalena. I want to thank-you... once again.
