Expiration Date
by Pam Ford Davis 5/01/2012 / Devotionals
Pay close attention to expiration dates. Drinking of milk past the marked date could be hazardous to your health. Medications can lose potency when sitting on a shelf or inside your medicine cabinet past the expiration date. We also know the importance of keeping track of the date of expiration of our driver's license or car tags. Hindsight may be common but is frustrating when viewing flashing blue lights in our rear view mirror!
God does not dispense His love and mercy with an expiration date warning. We can be confident it is always beneficial to our spiritual, emotional and mental health. Its strength never varies or lessons and we need not keep the date activated on file in fear of termination. "The Lord will accomplish what concerns me. Thy lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting (Psalms 138:8a NAS)."
