The sign in the bookstore or local library informs readers. "Meet the Author, _____ Book Signing" If the writer is on the best-seller list, myriads of readers will line up at the doors far in advance of the scheduled appearance. Fans hope to meet the author face-to-face, and leave with an autographed copy of their current book. If one of my peers is the one being recognized, accept my high five!

Have you met the author? "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all that obey him (Hebrews 5:8-9 KJV)." Christ Jesus is the author of our salvation, the beginner and finisher of our faith. We prove our love for him through our consistent reading of his written word. One day, his followers will see him face-to-face!
