7 Steps To Increase The Peace Of God And Live A Fulfilling Life

Do you want to live a fulfilling life? The Peace of God is a catalyst for a fulfilled life. The more of God's peace you experience, the more your life is fulfilling. This article gives the steps to increase the peace of the Lord.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord 2 Peter 1:2 (KJV)

There is no peace, says my God, for the wicked Isaiah 57:21 (AMP)

Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever] Romans 8:6 (AMP)

The 7 steps

1. Be born again

Receiving Jesus as your lord and saviour is the first and foremost step to experience the peace of God in your life. Jesus is the carrier of God's peace. Therefore, you can only have the peace of the Lord when you have Jesus.

2. Stand on your justified position

When you gave your life to Jesus, you were justified by faith. You were acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God through faith. As a member of God's family it is your inheritance to enjoy the peace of the Lord. You need to stand in this exalted position in Christ and take possession of what belongs to you by faith.

3. Be spiritually minded

The spiritual mind is life and peace both now and forever. But the mind of the flesh goes along with it the miseries associated with sin, including lack of peace and ultimately death. Therefore, to live a fulfilling life you need to mind the things of God.

4. Increase your knowledge of God

You multiply this Peace by learning more about God and Jesus, and what they are capable of doing. When you have assurance that God will take care of you and all the issues surrounding you, you will experience more peace and joy within you. And you will live a fulfilling life knowing that God will help you every step of the way.

5. Be anxious for nothing

Anxiety is a sign that you are lacking the peace of God; that you don't absolutely trust God. When you are anxious, you push God away from you. And you can't have a fulfilled life without God. Anxiety-free life allows God to flood the peace of the Lord within you.

6. Be grounded in God's love

A life rooted in the love of God is a life full of God. God's love within you assures you the richest measure of God's presence, which includes His peace. God's love eradicates fear with its torments. But it manifests the peace of the Lord, leading to a fulfilled life.

7. Be a worker of good deeds

Being a doer of good things is one of the 7 steps to increase the peace of God. There is no peace for workers of wickedness. Peace is of God and what you sow you will reap. The wicked cannot sow evil and reap peace. Therefore, for you to enjoy the peace of God and live a fulfilling life, you need to constantly be a worker of good deeds.

In conclusion, you cannot live a fulfilled life without the peace of God. Everlasting peace is from God. The world is incapable of offering it. When you follow the above 7 steps to increase the peace of the Lord, you will surely enjoy this peace that money cannot buy. Start today and experience tremendous changes in your life!
