I kinda' think the Anderson's might be kinfolk. I spent so much time in their house; surely, Betty, Bud and Kathy must be cousins. "Father Knows Best" was not merely the title and catch phrase; writers masterfully wove demonstrations of Jim Anderson's wisdom into each episode. Father always knows best.

David, as father of Solomon shared godly wisdom. David, the father knew what was best.
