A Love Lost

Death touched my Love, Oh how it made me cry!
The pain so intense! "Please Lord, tell me why?

My Love suddenly taken, quickly from my world
My Love was to me a Precious and Priceless Pearl.

No goodbye kiss! Death has torn my world apart!
It feels like a dagger being plunged into my heart!

I asked the Lord above how He could let this be?
This was the answer that God gave to me:

"Sometimes bad things happen in your world below
I am with you through it all, everywhere you go!

I will be holding your hand through this suffering spell
The dagger that pierced your heart entered mine as well!

Your Love is here with me now, forever to be mine!
One day you will meet again, in my land with no time.

Many like you are seeking for the reasons why?
I hold the answers in my Kingdom beyond the sky.
