A Soldier's Prayer

Please hear me Jesus as I kneel down and pray
I need your strength to fight against Satan today.
I have your Sword and I have your Shield
I need the Strength you send when I kneel!
Satan is on a Death March throughout the land
He seeks to destroy every soul that he can!
Make me a wise soldier against Satan the sneak
Who'll stand between Satan and a victim who's weak.
Please send me your power as I kneel in prayer
Help me rescue the sinner caught in the snare.
Some I try to rescue think I am their foe
They lash out in darkness because they don't know.
Satan's snares are flashy, colorful, pretty to the eye
These snares of sin will cause many souls to die.
In these snares all suffer and most die real slow
Satan always laughs as he watches them go!
Let this sword in my hand cut through the night
Let it sever the snare that holds them so tight!
When Satan's snare is destroyed thy Light will shine in
Then the victim will see that I am his friend!
Please hear me God as I kneel and pray
I need your strength to be your Soldier today.
