Who hasn't felt overwhelmed? We may put on a show of strength and confidence; yet, inwardly we are crumbling. "I simply can't bear it!" The support of those we confide in enables us to hang on. We do want to trust God. Will we yield to temptation and give up? How much can one person bear?

"So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it (1 Corinthians 13:12-13 NIV)." Yes, he makes a way. We remain standing!
