A writer sits at the keyboard,
the pictures sweeping across
the landscape of her mind.
Key by key she paints
what she sees until the page is
covered with black depth --
a masterpiece indeed.
A disciple sits on a stone floor,
chills crawling up his back as
he dictates to his faithful
friend.
Word by word he ransacks his mind
to find the sights, the sounds of
the One, and of those who met
His touch, until the papyrus is
covered with black depth --
the Master's piece indeed.
One paints;
one rediscovers - as the
Spirit whispers.
