But He let go and became man

He so humbled Himself
In Him was found no pride
He made Himself a slave
Oh, what a lowly mind!
Lord, let this mind be in me
To humble myself like thee

Vs2:
Holy Jesus, meek and lowly
Blessed Saviour, King of Glory
Yet simple while on earth you walked
No guile found in thee as You talked

Vs3:
Teach me lowliness O Jesus
Perfect humbleness' found in Thee!
I desire a heart like Yours
Rid me of all high thoughts of self
