The day set aside to
Celebrate the birth of Jesus.
God's precious Son,
Who, came to save us.
Born on this day,
In a cold and lowly manger
Filled with hay.
God's only! Precious pearl!
He brought joy to the world!
Called the Lamb of God
Soon to be gracious King!
When He came down to earth,
Heavenly angels sang!
And the shepherds did run
For to see the Chosen One
Telling all that that they saw
Of His birth.
There was darkness all over the place;
But, He brightened the night
With His grace.
Wisemen came to His side,
With a star, as their guide;
They came to see
Our Blessed Lord! Our Great Messiah!
Jesus Christ!
