REVELATION - NOT - INTERPRETATION

by James Manning

REVELATION- n0T - INTERPRETATION

God our heavenly father never intended for the bible to be interpret, and we will never come too the knowledge of the truth through bible interpretation.

One of the things that have led to the much confusion that we see and experience in the church today is because we have men trying to explain God and his plan though the reasoning of the carnal mind.

The only way that the body of Christ will ever overcome so much division is when those who are occupying our pulpits begin to look to the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth of God's word, and refuse to speak by anything but divine revelation, if you don't see it, don't try to talk about.

Equally share the same

Romans 8:17
And if children, thenheirs;heirs of God, andjoint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

An heir is a sharer, we are sharers with God and joint sharer with Christ. To be a sharer and a joint sharer means that everything is equal. We all should be receiving the same in amount, quality and substance. And all of this is given to us through knowledge, the knowledge of the Father and the son. That means that my knowledge of the father and the son should be the same as your knowledge of the father and the son.

Through The Knowledge

2 Peter 1:2
Graceandpeacebemultiplieduntoyouthrough the knowledge of God,andof Jesus our Lord,

Everything that you and I are to receive from God will come to us according to what we know about him. And what we know about him must be exact and precise, we all must possess the same knowledge, and this will not happen apart from the Holy Spirit revealing the truth to us.

Translation Is Not Interpretation

We seem to think that translation and interpretation are the same, but they are not. Let me illustrate it for you, let's say that I would go to another country where the language is Spanish, but I don't speak Spanish, so what I need is a translator, I need someone who can take what I say word for word and translate it into Spanish, and what I do not want him to do is to attemp to interpreted what I am saying,

And let me ask you a question, how many translations or translators do I need? I need only one translator to translate what I am saying from English to Spanish verbatim. Today we have way over a thousand different translations of the Old and New Testament of the bible, and pretty much of what you are getting is some mans interpretation.

I tell people that all you need is a good King James Bible, not because I am a King freak, but because using the King James somewhat forces you to depend on the Holy Spirit, because He is the only one who can open the eyes of your understanding, and fill you with the knowledge of the will of God with all spiritual understanding.

Called To Fellowship

1 Corinthians 1:9-10
King James Version (KJV)
9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

I was watching one our much respected television ministers say many years go, that this scripture can not be saying what it appears to saying because it will never happen, and then he went on to say with his guest what this scripture must be saying instead.

If you view this scripture in the light of what we have created as a result of our interpretation of the bible and the division that we have as a result, you are right, it will never happen. But it we view this scripture in the light of the Holy Spirit revealing to every man what he is to share as far as the holy scripture is concern, then what you read is exactly what he is saying,

Paul by the Spirit of God is making a plea to the people, and especially the leaders because they are the ones who are instructing others, that they all speak the same thing, and there be no divisions among them, and that they be perfectly joined in the same mind.

Verse ten can be better understood it we go back to what he said in verse nine,

1 Corinthians 1:9-10
King James Version (KJV)
9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

God has called you unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Now what is fellowship? Fellowship has the same meaning as the word heir, which is to share equally. All of us should be receiving the same knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ concerning his relationship with the father and his bride the church. If we all are speaking, thinking from within the fellowship that we have been called to, then there will be no divisions, and we all will speak the same thing and we will be perfectly joined together with the same mind.

Endeavoring To Keep The Unity

Ephesians 4:3
Endeavouring to keeptheunityoftheSpiritinthebondofpeace.

The Holy Spirit will never change in his purpose, He will never break outside of the perfect union that he has with the Father and the Son. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will not speak of himself, but he will speak only what he shall receive of him.

The same Holy Spirit that is in the Father and the Son is in the body of Christ here on planet earth. He is the one that will help us stay unified, and we must put forth the necessary effort to guard and protect the unity of the Spirit.

The way to keep the unity is by stepping away from bible interpretation and look to the Holy Spirit to reveal the great mystery of Christ and the Church to us

Unity of Faith And Knowledge

Ephesians 4:13
Tillweallcomein the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

This is the purpose of the fivefold ministry, it is to bring us into the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of God. And this can only happen as the fivefold ministry began to keep the unity of the Spirit by receive revealed knowledge of the Son of God from him according to what is written.

Our faith must be a product of exact knowledge of the Son of God, we all must have the same knowledge of the Son of God, and is then and only then that we shall be perfectly joined together in one mind.

Revealed His Son In Me

Ephesians 3:5
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is nowrevealeduntohisholy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

The Mystery of Christ the hope of glory is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, the Holy Spirit reveals.

Galatians 1:12
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, butbytherevelationof Jesus Christ.

Galatians 2:2
And I went upbyrevelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lestbyany means I should run, or had run, in vain.

Ephesians 3:3
How thatbyrevelationhe made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Galatians 1:16
To revealhisSoninme, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Holy Men Of God

2 Peter 1:21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the willof man: butholymenofGodspake as they were moved by theHolyGhost.

At the very moment that you interpret scripture it becomes a private matter, and it is open to debate. The men of old were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke only what he moved them to speak.

This is the reason why they could be separated by thousands of years, yet they spoke and wrote with such unison.

God the Father and the Son are here on this planet with us through the person of the Holy Spirit, and he is here to help us, let's get acquainted with him, so that he can do what only he can do, which is to bring us together as one body, with one knowledge and one faith.
