Church-Steeple-People

I remember Mom teaching me a hand game.

"This is the church

This is the steeple.

Open the doors,

See all the people!" *author unknown

I practiced interlocking my fingers until I got the knack.

Today, I sadly revamp the game, wanting people to come back.

"This is the church

This is the steeple.

Open the doors,

Where are all the people?"

"Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25 Amplified Bible)."
