The Stone Has Been Rolled Away
by Tesh Njokanma 2/01/2013 / Poetry
The man who once lay in the tomb
Is today by your side to roll away your problems and pains
And speak peace to your troubled waters
So lift up your head, for the stone has been rolled away.
The man who once lay in the tomb
Is today by your side to roll away the ashes
Which fill your life with such harshness
And give You His beauty which glows like the midday sun
So lift up your head for the stone has been rolled away.
The man who once lay in the tomb
Is today by your side to roll away your stones of limitations
And free you to climb higher than the highest mountain
So lift up your head for the stone has been rolled away.
The man who once lay in the tomb
Is today by your side to roll away your broken heart and dreams
And give you a brand new beginning
So lift up your head for the stone has been rolled away.
Lift up your head high,
Lift up your head in victory,
Lift up your head no matter the situation,
Lift up your head for the stone has been rolled away.
