It is a profound statement; "God loves us, warts and all." Be honest, warts are icky. They are not exactly beauty marks. The Lord looks past warts and into hearts. I now move on to worrywarts.
I admit it; I am inclined to be a worrywart. That is gross!

Worry is such a waste of energy and time. I accomplish nothing through worry and the wringing of my hands. It's high time I begin wart removal.
"Stop being worried about anything, but always, in prayer and entreaty, and with thanksgiving, keep on making your wants known to God. Then, through your union with Christ Jesus, the peace of God, that surpasses all human thought, will keep guard over your hearts and thoughts (Philippians 4:6-7 Williams New Testament)." That is not only profound, but also transforming.
