Falling Apart

Most of us, from time to time feel like we are falling apart. The causes are many including declining health, the loss of a loved one, breakup of a marriage or loss of a job. Hope is allusive and we become fatigued and frantic. What to do, what to do? Thoughts are fragmented and our dreams for happily ever seem comical.

We are not stand up comics. Lives do fall apart. Are you waiting for your ship to come in? I continue to find pearls of wisdom in the book of Jonah. "But the LORD made a strong wind blow, and such a bad storm came up that the ship was about to be broken to pieces (Jonah 1:4 CEV)." The LORD lifts the fallen and makes masterpieces from broken pieces.
