On the outside, I show visible signs of my nearly sixty-four years; yet, inwardly I am still youngster Pammy Sue. At times, I am playful or pouting. When fearful, I want Father to hold my hand. I do not have to tease him or throw a tantrum; without a word spoken, He expresses protection and love, "Pammy, I want to hold your hand." He holds my hand in His.
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness (Isaiah 41:10 KJV)." His word is His oath. I am safe; He holds my hand. He takes me across dangerous intersections and keeps me from wandering. I will forever reach up for His hand.
