I misplace my house keys on a regular basis. My husband misplaces his eyeglasses. Children panic as they prepare for school because they have misplaced their homework. I agree with the one that coined the familiar phrase; there is a place for everything. Often in searching, I miss the place.
Misplaced trust is tragic. "A friend you can't trust in times of trouble is like having a toothache or a sore throat (Proverbs 25:19 CEV)." Ouch! I get the point; misplaced trust causes excruciating pain. I cannot ignore it in hopes it will just go away. I seek the help of a physician or medicinal remedies. The Great Physician heals the pain of betrayal.
