Before You Stink

"...the sister of him who was dead said to Him, 'Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.' "

That was a statement coming out from the mouth of a sister who loved her dead brother. Pay attention to the words "there is a stench" which is the same as "HE STINKS".

To appreciate what the sister meant very well, cast your mind on what goes on where a dead animal lays for days. The environment will be filled with offensive odour oozing out of it.

Now, you have some people who love you very well: father mother, sisters, brothers, friends, and so on. Do you ever think that they can (will) say about you one day that "HE STINKS"?

At that stage they cannot help you. All they could do is to deodorise the environment for their own welfare. You have technically become a nuisance to them.

However, before that happens to you, what will you do?
After all,
"...for dust you are,
And to dust you shall return."

It is important that you prepare for that time because after death comes judgement.

How do you now prepare?

You must not die in your wrong doings because,
"Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but NOW commands all men everywhere to REPENT, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained."

Now is the appointed time for you to turn away from all your bad ways. You do not know the time when the end will come that you will begin to stink.

Do away with all your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today.

Walk with Him and when He comes in His glory to take away His saints, you will go with Him.
