I admire my mother-in-law for her artistic flair. She can paint on any surface but her favorite medium is the common gourd. She sketches her designs with chalk and then patiently paints her objects with a steady hand.
The Lord's messenger, Moses, raised the rod of God and Israel experienced victory in battle. He grew weary. (Exodus 17:11-12) "Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; so his hands were steady until the going down of the sun (Exodus 17:12b RSV)."
Freelance writer of both fiction and non-fiction. Devotional writing is her first love.
