Colorblind
by PamFord Davis
5/06/2013 / Devotionals
Color blindness is no joke. I never realized my Dad was colorblind until it surfaced unexpectedly. The joke was on a house-painter I once knew. Someone hired him to paint their home white; to the dismay of the homeowners, he used pink. We must not forget color blindness or we may just turn green with envy. Watch your step!
"My feet were slipping and I was almost gone. For I was envious of the prosperity of the proud and wicked. Yes, all through life their road is smooth! They grow sleek and fat (Psalms 73:2b-4 Living Bible)." The psalmist sensed his folly. "I saw myself so stupid and so ignorant (Psalms 73:22a Living Bible)." In conclusion: I prefer being tickled pink with praise.
