When foresight steals away your youth
and worries shut the sunlight's touch
Tis relief from a drop of Christ's blood
Pass me not Great Saviour; but, fill this cup.

When sins bedim your walk with Him
and glory of the Lord from your height not seen
Rise and fight though bound and beaten
Give all to Jesus when it's a long race to win.
