Life without the Holy Spirit?
It's just better not imagined
Everything will fall out of shape!
Glory will be replaced with shame!

Life without the Holy Spirit?
How burdensome! Full of defeat
No oil of joy, no flow of life
It's full of struggle to survive!

Life without the Holy Spirit?
How dry! How lonely and empty!
No sweet peace, nor freshness of hope
Restlessness abounds in the soul

Life without the Holy Spirit?
Is the most difficult to live
It's like walking down through deserts
With dryness and thirst in the heart

Life without the Holy Spirit?
Is subject to fall into sin
It's like struggling with human strength
To please God, but such life will fail

The Holy Spirit within you
Releases grace in what you do
With Him the race is possible
Without Him, it's impossible!

The Holy Spirit supplies grace
Grace to serve, both to pray and praise
He renews us love Jesus
And to see beauty in His cross!

Have you so grieved this Good Spirit?
Have you lost His Presence within?
Go not further empty of Him
Be cleansed, plead Him return to thee

The reason there's a struggle of any kind in the Heavenly race, whether when to pray, praise, preach or serve in any way, is because there is a lack of the fullness of the Spirit of Grace!

The Holy Spirit of Grace makes the race to be possible, enjoyable and the finish line reachable!
Without Him, it's totally impossible!
