When I was young, You made my heart Your home.
Years went by, and I got to know You on my own.
We grew closer and closer
And became as close as close could be.
But as I got older, it became clear to me
That life has a way of trying to distract me from You.
Things that don't really matter attempt to cloud my view.
At moments I allowed them to take Your place,
But no longer will that be the case.
I want to fall in love with You all over again.
I dream of the days we walk hand in hand.
I want to put You first and serve You and You alone.
Out of anyone I'll ever love, I want You to be number One.
