Get My Drift?

"Do you get my drift?" Sometimes, I do not make my messages clear; the hearer or reader is clueless to its meaning. Ought oh, such misinterpretation is not good!

If a boat drifts off from shore into uncharted seas, those aboard are heading into trouble, 'if you get my drift.'

Beware; drifting is perilous.

In Hebrews chapter one, we are reminded of Jesus superiority; He is above all.

"Since all this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away (Hebrews 2:1 Amplified Bible)."
