So Much to Gain

"Oh, come onwhat have you got to lose?"

When unsure of the outcome of a decision, the prodding of others makes us uncomfortable. We might lose assets and even our integrity. Do we dare when they 'double dare' us to take a chance?

The wise do not leave crucial ministry decisions to chance. Whether laymen, pastor, evangelist or missionary, each has nothing to lose when they invest in a sure thing. They have oh so much to gain.

"For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better (Philippians 1:21-23 NKJ)."
