ENTER INTO THE BUBBLE OF CHRIST'S PEACE

by ROBIN BOSCH
10/15/2014 / Devotionals

Have you felt uncertain and vulnerable at times? I know I have. Have you felt that things are going crazy? I have. Do you watch the news and get perplexed? Do you see people living in poverty and despair and feel powerless to stop it? Have you seen horrific crimes committed in your country and even in your own suburb? Have you been on the receiving end of these crimes? I have. Have you started a business and been defrauded of money by innocently falling into a scam of some sort? Isn't it frustrating? I say, it's deplorable.

We scratch our heads because our Government and its leaders are doing things that defy logic. "Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand." (Mic 2:1 KJV) (Hab 2:12 KJV) We see leaders in every arena, abusing power and committing crimes that should not even be mentioned among them. (1 Cor. 5:1) Even our sporting heroes have fallen off their thrones, (ours as well), because of their moral indiscretions. Nothing is sacred anymore. It is so disappointing.

We now see a deadly disease, spreading in Africa and the rest of the world. Looking anxiously around we cry," What is happening?" It seems like everything has been turned upside down. Things don't seem to be the same anymore. What's going on? "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come." (2Ti 3:1 KJV) Morals have always been bad, but my goodness, people are taking things to new levels or should I say new depths. (2 Thess.2:7)Iniquity is abounding. ((Matt. 24:12)
Everybody's letting it all hang out, so to speak. "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, (2Pe 3:3 KJV)

It's in these times we absolutely 'known', the rubber is hitting the road. Of course we know 'all' the Bible verses, 'all' the Biblical truths and listened to 'all' the sermons, but when these things occur and circumstances are contrary; it's hard to conjure up peace and tranquility. We struggle to reconcile the reality of what is happening around us, with the true reality, which is Christ in us, the hope of glory. (Col 1:27) It's difficult to remain calm in the midst of these storms. (Mk.4:39)

BUT, it is in these times that we should exercise what we know to be true. We should realize and believe as never before, that we are called with a purpose in these last days. We must understand that we are hidden, in Christ. (Ps.27:5) and we are His peculiar people, called to do a job of work. " But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"(1 Pe 2:9KJV)

It is NOW that we enter into the 'BUBBLE OF CHRISTS PEACE' (Jn.14:27) Where is this to be found?' In Him'. "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."(Jn.16:33KJV)

We must stand firm as ambassadors and custodians of Christ's message of Grace. (2 Cor.5:20) The fruit of which is deep, abiding, inner joy and peace, radiating from us as we believe the Good News. "Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee."(Is.26:3KJV)

When we harness the peace that Jesus gives, we become conduits or channels of the Good News. That's our purpose and our calling. This is the time that we come into our own so to speak. It is NOW that we display BMT (Big match temperament). People are hungry and thirsty to hear the gospel of Grace and we should be ready to dispense it with fearless conviction.

As the world spirals into deeper misery and despair, we are going to find more and more people seeking the Light.(Rom.10:13) Ps.18:6)(Matt.14:6) "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (Jhn 9:5 KJV) Jesus has now delegated the task of being light bearers, to us. He said," Ye are the light of the world." (Mat 5:14a KJV)

We must beckon, call and cry out to the anxious and needy and say, "Grace, Grace."
"Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it. (Zec 4:7 KJV)

We, as believers in the blessed hope, should exude the sweet smelling fragrance of our Savior Jesus. (Tit.2:13)(1.Pe.1:3) "His cheeks [are] as a bed of spices, [as] sweet flowers: his lips [like] lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh."(Sng 5:13KJV). We should be ready to take our stand against the whiles of the devil who desires to cast us into the same mold as those who have no hope. "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope." (1Th 4:13 KJV)

Haven't we been given the ministry of reconciliation?(2 Cor.5:18)

Yes, but what are we inclined to say?
We say, "Who! Me?---- Noooo! ".
We look at ourselves and compare our frail flesh to what Jesus said we are 'In Him'.

It seems unbelievable, right? ----It's seems too good to be true, right?
But scripture says, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zec 4:6b KJV)

Wow!!--- Who gets all the glory then? The answer is Jesus. "---- we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." (2 Co 4:7 KJV)

We must avoid exuding any noxious odors of fear.(1 Jn.4:18) When fear grips us we are of little comfort to those who seek solace and answers to life's traumas. People are looking to us, who profess and confess Jesus and His Saving Grace.

As vessels of mercy we are not exempt from the stresses and strains of life. (Rom.9:23) But when these come our way we must climb into the BUBBLE OF HIS PEACE .The "peace that passes all understanding."(Phil.4:7) (Is.9:6)

We should never walk around with an inferior spiritual complex, even if we feel flat and weak. We should rather rise up and say, "For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth" [Job 1:25 KJV) ; because he lives in me. Amen.

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2Co 12:9 KJV)

'IN CHRIST" SCRIPTURES.
(Rom 3:24)(Rom 8:1)(Rom 8:2)(Rom 12:5) (1 Cor 1:2)(1 Cor 1:30) (1 Cor 15:22)
(2 Cor 1:21)(2 Cor 2:14)(2 Cor 3:14)(2 Cor 5:17)(2 Cor 5:19) (Gal 2:4) (Gal 3:26)
(Gal 3:28)(Gal 5:6) (Gal 6:15)(Eph 1:3) (Eph 1:10)(Eph 2:6) (Eph 2:10) (Eph 2:13)
(Eph 3:6)(Phil 3:13-14) (Col 1:28)(1 Thess 4:16)(1 Thess 5:18)(1 Tim 1:14)
(2 Tim 1:9)(2 Tim 1:13)(2 Tim 2:1)(2 Tim 2:10)(2 Tim 3:15) (Phile 1:6) (2 Pt 1:8)
(2 Jn 9)

I have been a believer in Christ for many years. It has only been in the last three or four years that I have received greater insight into the Grace of God. This has injected me with energy to tell others about the blessed "rest" we have in Christ. Grace is not a theology but is a Person-- Jesus.
