Highway of Holiness

Isaiah 35:8
"A highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks that way, and fools will not wander on it."

As I meditated on this scripture I heard this word echo within me:

Let the rivers of God water you as a watered garden that remains fertile in times of drought and harvest.

I ask the Lord how can I apply this verse and this word of insight into my own life. Here were the impressions I received:

Trust in me even when things don't pan out the way you thought. You will remain and stand strong within difficult times as long as you trust in me...place your confidence in me. For you are blessed and well nourished if you do so.

I asked the Lord how does this verse and the word of insight apply to the people around me. Here were my impressions:

Come to the waters and drink my waters and you will be fed and nourished from my springs of life. Your drought will cease as you search for my well of living waters. Search for me, search for me and you shall find waters that will never run dry. Search for me and come and drink from my well of life.

I asked the Lord to explain the word of insight He gave me in light of the actual verse. Here is what I heard:

My words are the rivers of God poured out on this roadway of holiness, this Highway of Holiness...my words to you are holy and it will be such for those who hear my words within them. Let my word be the highway of life for you, let my words be the road to life. My words are life and they will lead you on the path of holiness. I am this Highway of Holiness. I am the River of God within you.

I asked the Lord to explain the personal application He gave me in light of the actual verse. Here were my impressions:

My way is the Highway of Trust, not many will travel on this path - this highway...but I am calling you out to travel with me on this pathway, this roadway I call holiness. Only my waters can purify you, only my word can make you Holy. I am the living word of God, the highway of Holiness. I am the truth, the way and the life - Christ Almighty. Trust in me and I will cause you to walk down this path. The path of rest - The path of refreshing waters - The path of holiness - The path of righteousness. Place all your confidence in me and you will not wither but flourish even in times of difficulty.

I asked the Lord to explain the application He gave me for those around me in light of the actual verse. Here were my impressions:

I am calling my people to search for me, search for me on the Highway of Holiness... the highway of my living waters... my word. Seek me and you shall find me. I desire for my church to seek me...walk with me on this path of cleanliness. This path of redemption - This path of total commitment toward me. It's the path of living wells of waters that can only be drawn from me and by me. Come to me and drink - is what I am saying, come to the source of life. Seek me...don't give up, seek me and keep walking on my path of holiness. Seek me!
