Hazard County's Sheriff, Roscoe P. Coltrane persistently harassed Bo, Luke, Daisy and Jesse Duke. In hot pursuit of the Dukes, and their General Lee-69' Dodge Charger, he was a hazard to drivers and pedestrians.

Weekly, the 'Dukes of Hazard' offered television viewers high-speed chase scenes, vehicles soaring in the air above obstacles and redneck humor.

Christ followers often live in high danger, risking their lives in attempts to overcome obstacles.

" it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth (Acts 15:25-27 NKJ)."
