Walking a Dog for the Kingdom

When my dog Butterscotch was alive, we lived on Linden Avenue. It was a quiet and pleasant street. My neighbors were very friendly. A fellow named Dave would pass about three times a day, walking his dog, Four Star.
Butterscotch and I got acquainted with him and Butterscotch and I both loved for them to drop by on their way on their walks
When Butterscotch passe away, I remember Dave, stood out on the side walk crying
with me over her death.
He knew what it would feel like to loose his dog it meant a lot to me
However, when i got my other dog, Max, in as much as Butterscotch got a long with Dave's dog, Four Star, Max and her were not compatible! It got so bad that poor Dave had to start walking Four Star clear over on the other side of the street.
2 months had past and I hadn't seen Dave out walking. I thought I 'd better check on him
Sure enough, I found out that He passed away in his sleep back in May
Now, I have been so depressed lately
However, one day littleI decided to do something for someone else. I walked right down to Dave's house and offered to walk his dog for his bereaved wife
She was thrilled!!!
So, was Four Star; she hadn't been on a walk since Dave's death
It was then I realized that perhaps in Heaven that Dave was walking my Butterscotch and I was here on earth walking his dog. Needless to say, that realization brought a tear to my eyes!

I have a dream of becoming a writer who reveals the hearts of others and the heart of God.
