Peace Sign

We courteously, politely and warmly greet friends with a 'hello.'

Sometimes, we add 'How are you doing?' or 'Nice to see you!'

I am enlightened, humbled and overjoyed with Jesus customary greeting of 'Peace.'

"And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, 'Peace be unto you (Luke 24:36 KJV)."

He himself is the source and sustainer of our peace. Read and receive

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27 KJV)."

The hippie generation often made a 'peace sign,' saying the empty word to those they met. Jesus left an empty tomb as his sign of peace and victory over death!
