Were I a spirit: thought and soul,
No body weigh me down;
As free as wind to come and go,
Pure thought, no words, no sound.
Exist outside of space and time!
No change! No need to grow
From infancy to fully prime.
From whence I came, I'd know.
Here now! Pure nothingness before.
Dear Lord, I knew that You
Created me to You adore.
How could that not be true?
