Here am I, body, soul,
A spirit and a mind.
My life is me, and I'll control
My share in humankind.
I fly through time with awesome fear,
My body, mind, and me.
And yet, my soul is always here,
My own eternity.
One me, two parts, and both are real.
Which one means more to God?
Oh! What my soul will someday feel
When body turns to sod.
