Did I hear your voice this morning?
Did you call my name?

Did you sense my struggle,
and know that I'm alone?
Did you ask the Lord to help me
til I too am home?

Did I hear your voice this morning?
Did you call my name?

How I thank God that you love me.
How I miss you day by day.
How I praise Him that you're with Him.
How I long to kiss your face.

Did I hear your voice this morning?
Did you call my name?

Do you know I smile while crying,
as memories stir my heart?
Do you know that what you gave
remains though we're apart?

Did I hear your voice this morning?
Did you call my name?

I pray you know I love you,
even more than before.
I pray you know I treasure times
my heart has gently stored.

Did I hear your voice this morning?
Did you call my name?

May God give you this message
of gratitude and love.
May God give this, my hug to you,
in Heaven far above.

Did I hear your voice this morning?
Did you call my name?

It won't be long til I am with you.
Each day for that I pray.
It won't be long and then you'll know
I heard you call my name.
