Life will beat you, men will fail you
You'll be drained by rain, scorched by sun
But through it'all you'll grow and have roots
Make up your mind to NOT GIVE UP!

A pos'tive mental attitude
Sees not just the cross but'd "Star Crown"
Never be rude, keep doing good
That will keep you from getting downed!

Though life will try to bury you
And make sure that you won't succeed
But at the end when it is through
You'll spring up because you're God's seed

Life will shoot you with fiery darts
And would cut you with flaming swords
To hurt, trap you in fear and doubt
But fill your heart with God's sure words

It's all about your kind of mind
What do you think? What's in your eyes?
You're born of God, you're like a wind
And like air will always arise

If you don't know whom God's made you
You won't yet know you're powerful
You'll be set free knowing this truth
And the giants will be but foods!
